I saw a post on r/squaredcircle that it was this incident that was brought to the board that saw Vince initially ousted, so I think they knew after the fact.

Pretty sure this is the stuff that drove the wedge between Stephanie/Paul and Vince and why he was ousted from the company to start with.

Remember he forced his way back into the company due to his shares, not because anybody wanted to bring him back.

TKO played nice to secure the sale (also looks like HHH and Nick were maybe playing both sides with Vince a bit) but once the sale was completed they started the process to force him out there too.

Really though hopefully TKO can fully remove Vince from the equation, not sure if Laurentius is still around, and Lesnar should be released too.

Well by the time of the TKO sale the allegations were mostly public...but it's almost impossible to remove Vince because he was the single largest shareholder with voting control.

So you really can't force him out before the sale, and then even as part of the sale there were some key things they wouldn't have been able to do with him as a key shareholder.

I do think now this will probably get him removed from the board, but still going to be tough since with his shares and with his voting power I think he gets to name some of the board...so he can always try to force his way back in.

Really the only thing that can truly remove him fully from WWE/TKO would be criminal charges.

I wonder if Kevin Dunn knew what was going on, and that's one of the reasons he was let go? Laurentius was already terminated.

Also this explains the recent change to have Gunther face Rollins at Mania. If Lesnar is no longer in the plans it makes sense to shift the card appropriately.

Although I wonder in Lesnar's case, did he know the nature of the "relationship" between Vince and Grant? I'm not trying to excuse his actions, but perhaps he thought she was a purveyor of these types of fetishes? That she was a consenting adult, not being forced under Vince's influence.
