Key Hobey Baker announcement dates for 2013 include:
- Top Ten list of candidates: March 21
- Hobey Hat Trick of three finalists: April 3
- Hobey Baker Award announcement: April 12

Looks like we narrow it down to 10, then 3, then the committee does it thing.

Really, the committee just does it's thing the whole time, while the public gets excited that they can vote for the Hobey Baker Award winner, all while, the public's vote essentially means nothing.
Still, keep voting!

It'd be awesome if someone could somehow hack the poll so that any votes for knight go straight to Gaudreau. Let them do all the work while someone makes a thread on the reactions knight supporters are having, would be thread of the year for CP.

Have some integrity. We either win this honestly, or not at all.

CBS Sports Hobey Baker Watch Week #13 is out: http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/blog/ey...-watch-week-13
After dropping into second place last week (mostly because he didn't play any NCAA games for a month), look who's back in first...
Quote:
1. Johnny Gaudreau -- Boston College
Comment: Gaudreau added a few more clips to his highlight reel in Boston College's 5-2 win over New Hampshire last Friday. Showing his immense skill, Gaudreau scored on what is beginning to become his signature backhand shot and delivered a pair of dazzling passes for his two assists. He has 17 points in his last nine games and leads the nation with 1.62 points per game.

Because the fact that it is text and conveys absolutely no tone or inflection makes it so obvious. We use green text for a reason.

Hey, what can I say. If you need someone to basically tell you when they're being sarcastic then that's your problem. But if you really need it I'll do it next time!

Green text is stupid. We should never use it.
Anyway, I find it amusing that third place is 6800 votes back. Oh, and another vote. We've got to catch up!

Just voted once in Firefox and once in IE and the vote stayed the same. Maybe they started tracking IP's?

Voted, me thinks there is something weird going on. No way does High River and the entire State of North Dakota have the population to even do what they are doing here. Shannanigans on this voting if Calgary and Boston can't be blowing this out there is something very shaddy going on.

Slow and steady is right. We may have to recruit more for the task. Any contacts at Boston College?

It seems to me that Knight picks up a lot of votes early in the day, and then when the west wakes up Johnny gets his. Still, that was a hell of a pickup for Knight this morning.
I may have to take an hour off work and vote from every computer in the building before anyone else gets here!

It will definitely be tough against the Fighting Sioux. They have a large fanbase. Minnesota Golden Gophers might be the only school with a larger following. Looking at that pic it is hard to imagine why you would not want to play college hockey, those guys actually play in front of huge crowds.
