Editted for Jokinen. I think Morrison stopped playing top 12 by this time and was injured, then back as 14th forward in December before finally traded.
That's my point - I did it a less subjective way. It isn't worth any more effort than that.

(and Morrison started the season as the top line C, which was your criterian)

Are you sure? Wasn't he injured for the first 2 weeks of the season?

If you want to use an entire year, you should include 2011 in it as well. The argument is useless if you are taking 1 season's worth of roster and comparing it with 2 seasons worth of roster.

I don't know - can't remember. But that's why the opening roster doesn't work either - some key guys might be missing.

All the players that play throughout the year are part of the age numbers. That's why I did it the way I did it. YOu are free to disagree.

I am done as this is pointless.

Ok. Since we have a lot of time on our hands... Multiply ice time by age and add them up. Fewest year-minutes wins. Go.

Rather then look at an apple to apple, lets look at the current top 9:

Iginla -35
Tanguay - 33
Glencross - 30
Hudler -29
Cammalleri - 30
Stempniak -30
Backlund -23
Stajan - 30
<FILL> Comeau or Cervenka - 27

I'm bolding young guy... at any given year, there was a Roman Horak or Matt Lombardi... the question is, did we get younger (on the top 9)... look at those 9 names...
