It would be amazing if they announced Calgary to Banff but also so very corrupt.
I’m sure it will just be a study tho — this government isn’t interested in actually building anything.

With the way things are going with the green line, it’s closer to a delay / slowdown or worse due to cost over runs. At least that’s all the buzz this dumb electrician has overheard.

The current radio commercials they have on keep mentioning rail connections to the airport as part of their list of accomplishments etc.
I haven’t heard the UCP mention anything at all about rail to the airports before so my money is on that as the announcement.

I think that would require an impressively engineered catapult. Or perhaps even a remarkably large Trebuchet.
"Mexico please..."
- "Buckle up..."

High speed mag-lev from her restaurant in High River directly to a new mine on Grassy Mountain. Great achievement!

Had to google that; ah, no, not at all. I have interests in infrastructure and municipal development in general, not trains in particular. "Foamers" are probably giddy at this news of a "major passenger rail initiative", whereas I think outside of municipal transit systems passenger rail in this province—and in the country in general—is a foolish pipedream.
