My criteria is if you’ve played 40 games or over, or in the shortened seasons, half the games or over (35 in 19/20 and 28 in 20/21) then you’re graduated. Guys like Andersson, Kupari, Boqvist, Wahlstrom and Mitchell aren’t included for that reason
1. Jack Quinn
2. Victor Soderstrom
3. Ville Heinola
4. Nicolas Beaudin
5. Ryker Evans
6. Adam Ruzicka
7. Artemi Kniazev
8. Emil Heineman
9. Yan Kuznetsov
10. Evan Nause

I have listed my top 10 in no particular order. Here in Columbus we do not like to divulge our internal rankings as it could hinder a future trade negotiation with another team.
1) Josh Doan
1) Marat Khusnutdinov
1) Jonatan Berggren
1) Cam York
1) Theodor Niederbach
1) Brock Faber
1) Aleksi Heimosalmi
1) William Wallinder
1) Nikita Chibrikov
1) Pavel Dorofeyev

Although I understand reasons for sidestepping a ranking, it's nice to know what people value. I wouldn't want to skuttle a trade because a gm values a player highly, that I thought was a throwin.
I expect that there are surprises on some lists. Juuso paarinen is my ultimate dark horse impact prospect for next year. His value is high on my personal list but most people probably don't know who he is.

Yea, I agree... I think the actual number rankings helps promote more trading which is the best part about this league.

I’d almost do mine in a pyramid/tier sort of way like Steve Dangle does for the leafs. Because honeslty 4 through 10 on my list is pretty close and I kind of just put together a gut instinct order there. But I’d put tier 1 as my top 3 prospects and then tier 2 would be 4-10 and maybe 2 other guys I left off, then tier 3 the next group and tier 4 the slim pickings

I wouldn't be surprised if 75% of the top prospects in the league have been on your roster at some point.

For a team with barely any draft picks, I actually quite like our pool:
1. Logan Stankoven
2. Alex Laferriere
3. Adam Sykora
4. Josh Doan
5. Ryan McAllister
6. Sam Lipkin
7. Yaniv Perets
8. Michael Kesselring
9. Angus Crookshank
10. Jeremy Langlois

Kesselring is a good pick up. I just couldn't find a way to fit him into our roster

LA's top 10 skaters under 21. I HM'd two of my personal favorites, that might have a long road to make it. Rizzo is in that category, too. It looks like LA is awash with a lot of middle of the lineup guys, but still guys who are likely to make the show. I feel like I forgot somebody.
- Henry Thrun
- Jusso Parssinen
- Arseni Gritsyuk
- Nathan Gaucher
- Aatu Raty
- Isak Rosen
- Reid Scheafer
- Willem Dufour
- Elias Salomonsson
- Massimo Rizzo
HM Vincent Iorio
HM Daniil Gushchin

Help, save, whatever.
|
I look at these lists and a lot of these "prospects" I have never heard of!
But then I look at my prospects and I know all of their names...so I guess my prospects are the best.

A lot of our prospects aren't necessarily "name" guys like Raty and Holloway but I feel pretty strongly about a lot of them. Lipkin and Perets were the two pillars of Quinnipiac's national championship team. McAllister was the leading rookie scorer in the NCAA and I watched him up close a lot with Brooks. Laferriere finished one spot ahead of Coronato on the Harvard scoring leaderboard. I like all these guys' upside.
