pretty cool to see Sturm Graz win the title here in Austria too. What Bayern Munich is to the German Bundesliga, RB Salzburg is to our league, having won 10 consecutive championships ... but Sturm Graz have had a really season and they've taken advantage of the fact that Salzburgs 23-24 squad has been weaker than in previous years and their manager was also not as good his predecessors. Certainly a good thing for the league to have a different champion for a change.

Imagine if you had to be somewhere, "Honey, we'll leave after this penalty shootout".

Leverkusen baiting Atalanta's hopes with this halftime score, Xabi is a sick #### for playing with other teams emotions.

Nah, gotta wait until Lookman completes the hattrick and Leverkusen go to like +650.

Atalanta has played them out of the park, it’s over. Leverkusen chose a brutal day to have their worst outing of the year

I'm never sad when an Italian team beats a German team...but I kind of wanted Leverkusen to have no losses over the course of the entire season

glad that unbeaten run has finally come to an end, to be honest. Atalanta thoroughly deserved this.

So it could be six Serie A teams in UCL next year, which is nuts.

Almost certain. Juventus and Bologna have pretty easy games this weekend meaning Atalanta would have to win twice and they're probably drunk.

lol is there a bigger clown than Laporta? First he begged Xavi for months to change his mind and stay, now he has fired him after he had the nerves to say in public that Barca has financial difficulties. Señor Levers didn't like that, so Xavi bites the dust.

Hansi Flick is set to take over.

Bayern are hiring Vincent Kompany as their new head coach.

Surprising decision and many people will be cynical about this, but I actually think he might be a decent fit. His style of football will suit Bayern much better than Burnley.

Talk about an all-time outhouse to the penthouse move. Who knows if it'll work out, we generally never do, but going from facing trips to Milwall and Stoke to being in the Champions League is elite falling upwards.

Oddly, I agree. I think he'll be a good fit. Its not the most glamorous signing but that usually indicates that he'll fill a different role.

If theres one thing Kompany demands its hard work. For too long Bayern have been relying on their talent. Might be a very interesting change.

That was as crap a final as you'll ever see. This competition sucks.

Bring back the Cup Winners Cup!

the game sucked, but the competition as a whole doesn't. Certainly more fun and appealing than the Cup Winners Cup

Yeah I think the Conference league is actually one of the better football ideas of the last decade. Seeing the smaller clubs/countries have a European away day is superb

They could be in the Europa League taking the place of the Cup winners and/or Cup finalists who are in a separate tournament.
