Yeah...going for it on 4th was the right decision...the play call was awful though.

So dumb....5 times now from inside the 2 they run right at the teeth of the defense with nary a chance....when you have a guy like Newton who can do so many things...just ridiculous.

Kaepernick probably wishes he could play Green Bay every week, then he'd be a Hall of Famer. When he doens't play them he looks very mediocre. Thats a horrible throw with a wide open Davis.

That's a touchdown. But Harbaugh is the biggest baby I've ever seen. ####ing loser.

The game is full of a-holes on both sides of the field. Would be nice if both of these teams could lose.

Good game though. Guarantees another tight, low scoring game with the Seahawks next week. Going to be interesting to see what happens in the Super Bowl when a high scoring AFC team meets one of the three defensive stalwart NFC teams.

He's entirely the reason I'm actually pulling for a division rival over the Niners. I've always kinda liked the SF's franchise traditionally (too young to experience the Saints NFC West days), but he just kills it for me, such a caveman. He also has a very punchable face.
Either way for next week, go Seahawks

Moon said it but this is a game I'd like to see both lose. I really don't like either choice.

Up to Newton to put his money where his mouth and ego is. It should be closer based on their failures on the goal line in the first half, but for all the good play he may have had in one half, he has to finish the game and pull his team back with making plays.

... and then Newton takes two sacks holding the ball looking for long passes, rather then keep his team in Fg position and make it a one score game.

Panthers offense is really bad. Even a FG here makes it really tough for them. TD is obviously game over.
