CBC reporting that WestJet flight 1402 operating YYC-PHX reported smoke in the cockpit shortly after departure, it held SE of YYC and just landed a few minutes ago.
Not Calgary related but Swissair (flight LX40) Zurich-Los Angeles experienced an engine failure last week and they diverted to Iqualiut. They sent up an A330 from JFK for the passengers and flew in a new engine on an Antanov 124 and are in the process of changing it out now. Link below to one of the local stories and a video of the 124 arriving n Iqualiut.
Good catches on both of those, saw it over at The Aviation Herald a few days ago. A great resource to see any incidents/accidents that occur all around the world. However it may not be best to view if you are a nervous flier, but on the other hand it shows you how safe commercial flying is even when things happen. Like the video of Swiss above, had you not read the report how could you even tell that only one engine was working? Amazing reliability and the redundancy of the remaining engine having more than enough power to get the job done.

Not today, tomorrow. AC flew two A321's and one 787-8 out of the US yesterday in the new livery. However the aircraft apparently have a wrap over them that is covering the actual livery underneath. Sneaky.
WestJet 2248 operating YYC-San Jose del Cabo turned around just before Lethbridge. Currently in a hold SE of YYC, initial reports is the same issue off smoke being reported in the cabin. Note that this is not the same 738 as the past two issues.
Edit: Update, it was a pressurization problem. No reports of smoke.

Looks like a grey underbelly, engines and tail. (you can see the Star Alliance wrap doesn't cover the entire tail)
NSFW!
