Just catching up now. I was surprised to find it on my PVR after setting up series record years ago. I wonder what other old series I have still in there set to record. But I digress.
A little quirky, but I really enjoyed the first two episodes, not at all what I was expecting.

Are you talking about the first two episodes of Season 1?
Because if so....buckle up friend...you are in for a ride.

Nope, the most recent season. I agree, season 1 was great.

Juno Temple with the minnesotan accent seems so alien to me. But man, it kinda works!

Has anyone found a Youtube or Reddit thread like "The Last of Us" had pointing out filming locations? I'm pretty sure the exterior shot at the school in the first episode was shot at EP Scarlett school- I remember seeing a truck with the "Scandia" police cars in that area in the fall so that makes sense- Loving the show so far, for the content and trying to spot the locations

Finished episode 1 and loved it. The obvious speculation is that there is "A History of Violence" type thing going on with Dorothy....

Episode 3 is a slow burn, but it ratchets up the intensity and the payoff is usually so good.

Yeah, it’s annoying. I’d love to watch Fargo but I’m not taking another streaming service.

I renewed my Shaw bundle last week, and the total tv option seems to be the tv plan they include with any bundle. So that gets you FX, along with the in demand options. Remains to be seen if they will leave the entire season up, or perhaps only the most recent couple episodes.

Oh wait, this season was filmed in Calgary too?! Thought they'd moved production permanently. My wife thought something looked familiar and asked where it was filmed and I just said "Not Calgary"
Gonna have to go back and watch some scenes because Scarlett is just up the road and I'm probably gonna be kicking myself for not catching it. Had no idea filming was going on in my neighbourhood, whenever this was.

Complete speculation on all of these, but I feel like their house/street is in Elbow park, kind of near the tennis club?
Who knows on the mother in laws house, but certainly somewhere off hwy 8 or springbank rd. I don't know how these home shootings generally work? Do they maybe look at houses for sale and rent for a period of time? My gut feeling is that the interior of the mother in laws house is perhaps the same as the exterior, but the interior of Dorothy's house does not seem right to me given the exterior and what we kind of expect for those gentrified homes in Calgary.
The mother in laws high rise office is insane and can't quite pick pick up on the angle to determine location.
Not sure about the ranch location, but the landscape to me seems more to the SE or East of Calgary, as opposed to West or north. Perhaps Aspen Crossing?
The only verified location I can find is Didsbury hospital, which I believe was the police station when Dorothy was released?

Google says some filming was done in High River and Didsbury so presumably the ranch was one of those. I'd imagine the high rise office is just green screened with the Minnesota location added in.

Im fairly certain its Calgary- with Western Canadian Place (husky) in a number of angles. It had the feeling of being a legit office and view, but who knows. It was definitely DT Calgary in season 1 when Billy Bob was chasing that guy down on a high floor.
