Top tier players, and officials nowhere near that class. To me, that's the main issue.
It's probably just as concerning that the richest clubs also seem to get all the decisions.

sounds like the FA Cup has been off to a great start this season.

A footballer has been sent off for urinating in a hedge in an FA Cup First Round Qualifying match featuring Shepton Mallet FC.
The Somerset side were away against Blackfield & Langley FC in the FA Cup match and it was a player from the home side who was shown the unusual red card. The match ended 0-0 however there was plenty of action despite the lack of goals.
The red card in question was shown in the 76th minute and it awarded to the goal keeper for Blackfield & Langley.

What makes the least sense is how much better it is in other leagues across europe
Not just better at getting it right, but quicker too
You could almost accept either or if it wasnt perfect, but the self proclaimed greatest league in the world can achieve neither

This is the worst day for mistakes that I can remember.
To have the benefit of slo mo replays and still get it wrong is inexcusable. It's either one of two things. Pure incompetence or corruption.

That was hysterically funny.

man I feel so bad for Sasa Kalajdzic. After transferring to Stuttgart three years ago, he tore his ACL in his very first training session. Now he signs for Wolves and tears his ACL on his PL debut. Terrible.

Definitely not worth the one goal lead.
Yeah he got a goal but Antony has been just ok. Nearly trying too hard. His and Dalot the weak flank.
Think United will be better with Rashford replaced by CR. Rashford the a passenger.
VAR got it right. Was a foul albeit a soft one. Simple as that.
Good game. Nearly like the old days between them two.

Excellent finish from Rashford. He brings ten times more than Ronaldo to the attack.

Arsenal's injuries in defensive mid showed, those passes through the centre of the pitch were too easy on those goals (but great passes).
Not getting an emergency signing to cover for Partay and Elneni being out already showing the cracks.
At 1-1, Arsenal could have taken over by avoiding a costly mistake and just couldn't do that unfortunately.

Arteta’s triple substitution completely upset the shape of the team and there was no coming back from the immediate goal providing United with insurance.
Good performance up to that point.

good stuff. I feel United were a bit lucky with the VAR decision (it is a foul, but a soft one ... I wouldn't have been mad if the goal had stood, it's such a close call IMO) and I thought they were way too passive to start the second half. Arsenal more than deserved the equalizer when they got it. Those two goals were a thing of beauty though, especially that pass from Bruno for the second goal. Quality finishes from Rashford too. Arsenal are a quality team though, I must admit I didn't think Arteta had it in him.
Given that United were the butt of every joke just two weeks ago, winning 4 straight (including games against Liverpool and Arsenal) is awesome. It's far from perfect yet, but the results are a good foundation to build on and you can see glimpses of things to come in every game.

That was a bit of a head scratcher as younse were still on top despite going a goal down against the run of play.

Arteta has done a good job rebuilding the team and blooding the young players, but his in game management lacks still
It's not a surprise with how little hes been a first team coach, and that his mentor in pep still hasnt figured it out yet
But it's kind of his Achilles heel at this point

Alan Shearer nailed it on motd talking about var yesterday
Not the system it's the people
Wish Webb could start now and not have to wait till post world cup.
After reading the article the athletic did last year about Clattenburgs book and the detail he goes into on how much who your friends are vs who is actually a good ref goes into selections there, there needs to be massive changes in leadership, and webb has been out of the game long enough and has the background as police that I can't imagine him being a shrinking violet when making decisions on appointments, removals etc.
Also think he will help with recruitment, I know they brought in Aussie refs starting in 2019, but theres no reason the FA shouldn't be poaching refs from the top leagues in Europe

So...not invincible I guess? Weird that as soon as they play someone in the top half of the table they fold. No one could have seen that coming.
