Flattering on the scoreboard, but never in this game for a second.

Sportsnet is such a crap station, they never miss a chance to rub it in.

Broadcast didn't give Flames nearly enough credit for almost pulling it off again. Very impressive group lately given how this season started out. Even if games where they don't have the bounces or their best game, they still come oh so close.

"Vancouver continue winning ways"
They're in a 4-5 stretch.

SN is pretty embarrassing when it comes to the western teams not named Calgary.

Quality Scoring Chances outweigh shots on goal.

Canucks won that battle.

Markstrom was Flames best player.

Markstrom maybe should get the first goal, but the others - no way. And he made a bunch of fine saves. Should have gotten an assist if Mangiapane didn’t handle the puck like a handgrenade.

It's a bad day when you're best player is well below league average... Just tired of first shot goals and always trailing. Such a boring team to watch when they aren't playing the way they need to.

Oh well on to the next game. I thought the Flames would have came out with more energy going up against a former teammate.

Manginpane had control of 2, 2 on 1s and he or his teammates didn't get a shot on net on either.
Those are both better chances than all the ones Vancouver scored on.

He had a very rough game handling the puck. And he made the wrong choice of play a few times. I’ve liked his drive and skating a lot more lately but it was a step backwards for him.

Lindholm had a bad game right until the end.
