Just wondering whats everyones GM rep/available phones like at the moment?
Mine is 52, with 3 phones, i discovered a kind of cheat though, if one team goes over the salary cap when making a trade offer but the trade offer is good, your rep will go up, so you can repeat this process as many times as you like probably to get a really high reputation.

So you could go like..Iginla for Chris Clark if that team was over the cap and you'd get rep?

Yeah, I offered Jokinen and his 5 million dollars to Boston for Aaron Ward, and it said we cannot make this trade due to salary cap restrictions, and i checked my GM tracker and my trades that boosted rep went up

I think mine is a 49 with 3 phones right now...I have tried to avoid signing free agents and trading them, it's also a pretty cheap move to do.

Yeah but doing that gives your rep a hit, i only did it once, because i wanted to deal Chucko because he had a really high trade value, but no one wanted him because of his expiring contract so i resigned him, and traded him a week later

I'm about 30 games into my first season...
Semin - Langkow - Iginla
Bourque - Jokinen - Horton
Glencross - Conroy - Boyd
Nystrom - Prust - Sjostrom
Phaneuf - Sarich
Bouwmeester - Pardy
Campoli - Kronwall
Giordano (injured for 2 months, broken hand due to slash...I scored 3 times on the 5 min PP i got from it though).
Kipper
McElhinney
Ersberg (waiver pick up).
To build this roster, I've also dealt my 1st and 2nd round picks for the next draft.

I did a fantasy draft and this is what my roster looks like:
Rolston - Getzlaf - Iginla
Pacorietty - Turris - Okposo
Raymond - Fisher - Simmonds
Eager - Conroy - Vasicek
Bouwmeester - Regehr
Kuba - Stuart
Ellerby - Parent
Irving
Howard
I drafted Lecavelier as my first pick, but then I traded him and a 2nd to Tampa for Getzlaf. I traded Lucic and a 1st to MTL for Iggy. Then I traded a young dman and my 3rd to pick up Kuba. Then I traded Rask and another young dman on the farm for Irving. Lots of trades, but looks good so far. I'm well below the cap and Getzlaf and Okposo are beasts...

I tried a variety of first line centers until I found Patrice Bergeron. Holy this guy is insane. He's way better than Kane, he's like the center ice version of Ovechkin but only less physical. He's fast, and has an accurate and hard shot.

I did a fantasy draft, the team revolves around Crosby (1st overall), Savard, Lidstrom, and a lot of goons.

I've been trying to use this exploit and have not had it do anything.
tried trading at draft, season, and trade deadline.
usually iggy or bowmeester, depending on the other teams wants, for bad, good or average of what they have too many of. tried it where they are ~ -5mil for space, nothing happened. tried going closer to $50 000 difference. none of my trade stats or reputation have been affected yet.
i think i am -4 rep, cuz I refuse to get rid of regher for 78 rated plugs quite often

Oh weird, i found out it doesn't work on my friends either for some reason. yeah everyone always offers for regehr for some reason, i havent recieved a trade offer for anyone on my team other than him ever, its kind of frustrating, i didnt recieve one trade offer on the trade deadline of year one, or any at the draft year 2.

I was trying to be somewhat realistic when I chose the Oilers, but I was able to trade Horcoff and Penner, and sign guys like Hudler and St. Louis...so maybe it's not all that realistic.
