Just be close to a toilet. Pho can go through you like a laser. Unlimited viet subs would be awesome if you could get smaller ones to try them all.

How much Pho can a person actually eat?? Whenever I go for Vietnamese, I have never witnessed people finishing an entire bowl.

They have a few all you can eat Vietnamese places in Calgary. You grill beef and/or shrimp and wrap it with vermicelli in rice wrappers.
One is on 16th ave, West of Center. Don't quite remember the name, but it's just kiddy corner to the school facing East on the north side of 16th.

Among the worst violations were frozen meat thawing on the floor under a sink; greasy containers, dirty sinks and washrooms; food debris littered on the ground outside the back door and crows seen landing on the garbage; highrisk food such as jellyfish, chicken, beef, rice and meat dumplings allowed to thaw at room temperature; clean dishes exposed to dirty water; numerous staffwearing dirty aprons; a box of meat on the floor in the walk-in cooler in a pond of water; a large amount of fruit flies in the dry storage area; and a tin of meat dripping juice onto the freezer floor.
|
It could be worse (no mention of vermin), but it doesn't instill confidence.

It's always the white folks that never finish. I've seen people eat half of their vermicelli or pho and leave. Should be a sin.

I always laugh at 'Taste of Asia'
Asia's kind of a big place, could you be a bit more specific?

Isn't not being more specific kind of the point? I assume they give tastes from all over.

A group of us from work hit this one on MacLeod by the Wendys/Denny's area - I think it's called Leo Fu or something. It's quite good for a hole in the wall.

The Singapore Sam's Downtown had no association with the Singapore Sam's in the NE from what I recall. The NE one is now closed and operating under a different name, but the last time I went there was not pleasant at all (The NE location)

Leo Fu's is fantastic! I recommend the Ginger Been and Salt & Pepper Chicken.
Thanks for the reminder, it's been a while since I've been there.

Yep. Not a huge one by any means but a buffet none the less.
