I went to school and played with him with Trolls. Probably LRC as well although my memory is hazy when talking about that far back in the past.

Kind of yes, I know who he is but he was at LRC before I was around so don't know him personally.

That's too bad.
He is a beautiful man that lived a troubled life. edit - this reads as he is dead, he ain't
I got to play with him on the back side of his career at the Hornets

I don't follow the sport like I used to, but I'll still pop my head in from time to time.

Because its wild.
You can enjoy the way the All Blacks play because its like watching an Artist create a beautiful sculpture, but the Boks are all goddamned over the place making mistakes left and right....its actually a lot of fun for someone without skin in the game.
Also, Eben Etzebeth is an absolute monster.

kick caterpillar kick
is boring
I'd say SA play some of the most boring rugby in the Southern Hemisphere. They desperately are holding onto 10 man rugby.

Can I take Fiji or are they too good? With the state of Australia I reckon they have a good shot here.

I think all rules are sort of 'Self-Imposed.'
I wouldnt take NZ as my 'under-dog' for reasons of obvious ridicule. But I also dont really care who wins or loses.
If Romania wins it all though, I am prepared to be crowned as a genius.

They just reversed the decision on Farrell and reinstated the red. Comes with a 4 game suspension so will miss the first 2 WC matches it looks like.

I would imagine a similar fate in store for the red handed out against Vunipola in the Ireland match. Not good.

Again, I dont follow this as closely as I'd normally like but this guy seems like an idiot. He knows this isnt football right? The sheer number of high tackles and lack of wrapping his man....its unreal.

Tonga centre George Moala’s appeal against his five-match ban has been dismissed by World Rugby, meaning he will miss the team’s first three Rugby World Cup matches in France.
World Rugby announced on Friday (NZT) that it had dismissed the player’s appeal against the ban imposed by the judicial committee after he was red-carded for a tip-tackle against Canada on August 10.
Poor George, wrong colour skin and wrong colour jersey

England is my pick. My dark horse is Georgia mainly because there are some many players whose name end in shvili and it makes me happy hearing the commentators...
