And his antics weren't ass bad as a throat slash for instance, but you have to draw the line somewhere and I draw it at the visible stuff (any).
Don't care if you disagree, but mocking a concern for children watching is pretty juvenile.
I was only mocking the concern for children watching because he didn't do anything that would negatively affect a child. No foul language, rude gestures, nudity, violence, etc.
I love how Kesler was talking about how Marchand was classless when he did that. Yah, like telling David Backes to say hello to his wife for him wasn't worse.
I hate the Canucks as much as anyone, but Marchand is a grade A ######. He belongs on the Canucks and embarasses the "B" every time he puts the jersey on.
I'm way more pissed about Kesler trying to pump up the crowd after being saved by the refs in the fight when iggy had him at his mercy... What a tool!
This. Kesler's a punk. Not sure if they play again in the regular season but if they do, I hope Iggy unleashes on him. Better yet, since we're not going to make it this year, would love to see Iggy get his first cup by beating the Canucks in the final. We could start compiling Kesler crying pics!
Nothing Marchand did was really over-the-top. He had to do the ring kissing thing twice because it was missed the first time around. He also looked tentative with the Cup raising gesture.
This is first class Canucks fan trolling:
Kesler was trying to pump up the crowd. It wasn't directed at Iginla.

Is there anyone who really takes offence to that? It isn't anything vulgar or obscene, it is just a player getting under the skin of an opposing team. Someone stating that it was hurting children somehow is such a hyperbole that it doesn't really make any sense whatsoever.
Marchand is a really good player who can turn a game, it just so happens that he can turn it in favour of the opposition just as easy as in favour of the Bruins. He reminds me of a more talented Ruutu actually.
I don't like those kind of visible antics - even against the Nucks - there are kids watching.
I respect the bold part, it's your right to like or dislike something, but I really don't understand the second part. What has kids watching have to do with this?

I don't have any issue with the taunting itself. I just thought it was a bit of a sad attempt to pump up your team on the way to losing pretty bad on HNIC.

I think all visual displays should be penalized. Ring-kissing isn't as bad as the throat slashing the night before, but where do you draw the line? For me, it all has to be a penalty.
Kids watch their heroes. If they do it, kids will do it to. That's what I don't like about it.
I am old school and I would prefer to keep the game classy.
