I would say stay with MacDonald - he won the game, and the team played well in front of him in the 3rd period.
If he plays a bad game, or is citing fatigue, then you go to Taylor.
Don't mess with a team coming off a comeback win

a win creeps us closer to a tie for the highly coveted 8th spot and our ticket to the big dance.
I want to see Jones back in the lineup and Comeau gone...whatever Jones did I don't care he need in the lineup over Coma (his new name).
Sarich needs to be inserted because we lack the physicality and with loose cannons like Yandle and Doan running around we need some toughness and more MMA Steve Begin takedowns ...gotta keep the opposition guessing IMO.
Iginla ....hey Jarome .....#12......time to show up ....Cammy, Hudler and Steve Begin are beginning to make you look bad....fight Doan and all is forgiven...I am setting you from STUN to KILL
Flames keep the suicide booth clean of all bloodstains and win win win .....
Glenx
Stemp (whirling dervish)
Hudler
WIdeman
Tanguay
Gio ......all with points

I always chuckle at Ric Flair in that first pic.

Flames need to bring the same energy tonight that they had in the 3rd period last night. Do that and they'll win. It would sure be nice to finally see this team above .500.

I predict Jones gets back in the lineup and goes on an absolute tear netting a goal and an assist on his first two shifts. Then he completes the Gordie Howe by fighting .........Blake Comeau for stealing his ice-time and getting what he felt was his shot with the Iginla line. Flames go on to win the game 4-2

So far this season, the goalie that finished the previous game has always started the next game.
When a goalie has come out to let another goalie play, they have not seen another minute of action.

Bouwmeester was a 0 that game. Flames lost 3-0. Karlsson in net and one of the 4 rare games where Feaster's pal and big trade deadline acquisition from a few weeks prior, Freddy Modin, suited up.
This game was two days after the Flames played last, having won 4-3 in Dallas to get a 3 game winning streak.

pretty sure no one, including Feaster, called it that.

I hope Giordano recovers from his concussion like play yesterday.
I'm not even hoping for a Flames win tonite. I'm just hoping Shane Doan doesn't injure anyone with a dirty check from behind.

My money is on Taylor getting the start tonight. Mac was shaky last night, still played a decent game, but they did mention "evaluating Danny at the NHL level" in the report for him being called up so I figure he gets this start as it's the last back-to-back game we have before Kipper is back.

Eventually he needs to settle with someone. Joey was pretty decent yesterday and that save against Jagr in the 3rd pretty much saved the game.

Was MacDonald playing at all during the lockout? Might just be a fatigue thing being hurt and then the lockout.

Gameplan against Tippett's Phoenix: don't let them get the lead or you'll die of boredom.

Well as long as they don't play terribly in front of him he should have a fighting chance.*
*I say this not having seen him play a single minute of hockey.

MacDonald has his first start since March 4th 2012, and is coming off a major back injury.
Throwing him into the fire in back to back games right away is probably not the best call.

I don't think Hartley has no confidence in MacDonald, I just think they want to see if Taylor belongs in the NHL and it IS a back to back situation with a guy who is coming back from injury and probably not in the best game condition.
