Ignoring the performance, I thought she looked pretty good. Not what she used to be, but still quite attractive. I'm also pretty sure that if any of us guys saw a regular girl who looked exactly like that walking down the street, we'd think she was pretty hot.

Her performance was completely flacid though.

And Sarah Silverman came out flat too, actually made me cringe for her at times when the audience was completely silent following a punch line.

Linkin Park killed. I don't particularily like them but man, that was an awesome performance. Alicia Keys was pretty good too.

Definitely think the place to be though is in at Foo Fighters party. Those jams with random singers (dude from Gnarls Barkley, singer from SOAD etc) look like they are way better than anything on the main stage.

Ive been watching this for the last 20 minutes or so, and the only 2 words that come to mind are "train wreck".

it was a train wreck, who f'n produced this piece of crap???? it's like they tried to the MuchMusic thing where it's more of a party, and just did a god awful job of it, they had no host, man that was just plain bad and I actually like "some" of the music (JT, Nelly, Timbaland, Kanye West) but just "wow".

Yeah, while I think Britney's performance was HORRENDOUS (and her weave was even worse, yikes, that stylist should have their license revoked.), she didn't look that bad, certainly not fat. Probably could've picked a better outfit, as the one she chose wasn't doing her any favors--but not fat at all.

She looked better than she has in months, but she should kill whoever did her hair.

You guys are making fun of her hair. You know that's a wig right? I thought it looked pretty good for a wig.

She nailed her career coffin tight tonight. 50 and Kayne were pretty cool presenting together.

I loved when JT said "we need more music videos on MTV" right after he won his 2nd award. The girls from the hilss presented his award. Great stuff.

He was the main human character in The Transformers movie, and he's going to be in the new Indiana Jones movie (which he announced the sub-title of during the VMAs...Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull).

Not ever having been a Britney Spears fan, I'm still apparently a sucker for tabloid news and had to check the link out. She's fat? No, not at all, maybe not so svelte, but still hot. Its troubling to see how disinterested she looked though. Its almost like she was on some sort of drug, or was doing something she was told she had to do, or both. There was no hint of the superstar she had become in that dancing.

I'm sure there'll be lots on this tomorrow. TMZ here I come. (I'm pathetic)

I thought Britney looked slightly above average and her performance was average. Definately not as good as her previous performances. Notalbly the one with the snake a couple of years ago
