So because Casey can't coach an offence beyond letting his guards play a 2 man game, JV hasn't panned out?
I think you're mistaken there.
Truthfully I think expectations were pretty damn high to begin with. He still has foot speed, but he's never ever going to be your 1A go to guy, though I myself have been dying why they don't give him more touches.
Now that Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are engaged, In Touch can exclusively reveal details on the couple’s wedding. Khloé and Tristan are now in the works of getting their own reality show, and are planning to marry in front of the cameras!
Sounds like FVV made the Raps. Ron Baker made the Knicks. Nice affirmation of the quality of the Wichita State program. I believe there are two more NBA players on the current roster in sophomore Markis McDuffie and red shirt freshman Landry Shamet.

So I had this bad feeling about Sullinger / guy has had foot problems before and yep it wasn't just a sore foot. Done for a minimum of six weeks. Meaning they likely start Siakam and have Patterson come off the bench as usual. Couple that with Carroll saying he still isn't 100 %. Scola actually started off last year playing very well. So instead of what looked like an upgrade at the PF position it's likely a spot that will see a lot of errors. A spot that other teams will attack. Pascal won't be done in for lack of hustle and he will battle but this is far from an ideal situation for him or the Raptors.
So the Washington Post ranked the top 100 NBA players. Lowry slides in at #14, but here's the interesting nugget: They have Valanciunas at #39, and DeRozan is at #45. Probably overrating JV a little bit, but I think it shows people have a lot of respect for JVs game. Too bad Casey doesn't respect his game more. He better this year, we should be seeing an 18 and 10 year from JV.

This I'm not sure of. I wish as well they are more generous on the offence with him, but I find it hard to believe that us as fans are the only ones to recognize this. There has to be some internal discussion with Uriji and Co., about giving him more opportunity unless there's a reason for it.
Injury front got worse as Bebe is also apparently down with a knock suffered in the Wizards game. So both stinkin rookies are going to be on the floor either starting or in a backup role.
The potential fatal flaw in the Warriors took a whole one game to come to the forefront. The lack of bigs means no rim protection and they can get abused on the offensive glass. Outside Draymond, a big man rotation of Zaza Pachulia, David West, JaVale McGee and Anderson Varejao is not one you wanna be relying on come playoff time, assuming all of them are even healthy by playoff time.

Good game by the Raps. Always in control. Fed the ball to JV which was different and he showed what he could do IF they would just give the guy the ball. DD and JV with the scoring. Decent defense. Rookies were alright / lots of learning to do there. Next up a real challenge.
Didn't watch the first half of the Raptors game but liked what I saw in the 2nd. Favourite moment: DeRozan, with the opportunity to go for a career high, drives into traffic, draws the extra defender... and dishes to JV for the easy jam. DD not getting tunnel-vision once he gets hot would be a big improvement.

IF he and Lowry would just look for JV that would open up the offense bigtime. Lowry , to his credit, did start doing that last year. IF DD does it then that is a big boost for JV's touches as the ball is always in DD's hands on offense.
Right now really might be the greatest era of talent the NBA has ever seen. Just an amazing time to be a fan. Last night alone we had:
- The first time ever two guys dropped 40 on opening night (DeMar and the Brow)
- First teammates to drop 40+ and 30+ on opening night (DeMar and JV)
- Harden had 34 points and 17 assists
- Embiid had 20 points in 22 minutes (and fans chanted "Trust the process!")
- Myles Turner dropped 30 and 16 with 4 blocks
And that doesn't even include big nights from Westbrook, Giannis and Vince Carter at 39 locking down Wiggins in the 4th quarter to help Memphis win.

Ugh, another loss to Miami for Orlando. I believe the Heat have now beaten the Magic 17 of the last 18 meetings. Talk about flat-out ownership. Was hoping for an opening night win, but still optimistic that the Magic can make some significant improvement this season.
Would be nice to see them playing some meaningful games in March and April; has been quite some time since that was the case.
