I just started watching this show. The first season was good, but holy cow the 2nd season is insane. So many good episodes. Mac Bangs Dennis' Mother is probably the best. I liked the basketball one a lot too.
Keep watching, it just keeps getting better as the seasons go on. By season 4-5 it's all-time.
Like Parks & Rec (or any good show I guess), one of Sunny's biggest strengths is their secondary characters, which they're good at not over-using. Mac's parents, Charlie's mom/uncle, the McPoyle's, the waitress, etc. My favourite's probably Cricket, I love how much trashier he gets as the seasons go on.
My favourite Cricket scene's probably the "Day in the Life" when he comes on Dennis/Dee's radio show. Haha man that cracks me up, especially his voice. Wish they had the full scene on Youtube, love when he sucks on the lemon. "Ohhhhh, that is tart. That is very tart". I need to find a way to work that quote into a conversation.

I'm already ranking it amongst Curb and Archer for my favourite all-time comedy. If it tops the second season it might surpass those two shows.
Sunny keeps getting better until the 4th season (specifically "The gang dances their asses off"), at which point it becomes incredible for a good while, then settles into being a great, great show.
I thought that 1st episode was very average for them, but I love this show so much that an average episode still beats the crap out of most stuff on tv
Episode 2 was okay. I was cringing when Dee and Frank were talking to all the garbagemen. But the part at the end with Charlie the wildcard was hilarious.
I enjoyed "The Gang Recycles Their Trash," but it's strage for a popular show devote an entire episode to mocking how predictable and formulaic it has become. It'll be interesting to see if, in upcoming episodes, they try to break away from what they've been recycling for the past few seasons.
