Sounds like a good idea, however this is too much like "Orange Crush" (Philadelphia) or the "White" in tampa bay. Forced Gimicks to try and obtain the end result. It's way better to wear RED on your own accord.

thanks for your reply. as a follow up, what if I wear my white jersey? The C on that is Red, and we're going for the C of Red, right? That makes sense, right?

Bravo to you Ace, for this thread. Great idea to inform some who may not have known.
Instead of handing out Red shirts, tell them they aren't allowed in unless they wear red. See what they do then.
Oh, and we're not in Saudi Arabia here, it's Calgary and it the C of Red.

This would be entirely true if the White Jersey was RED, however White, is not RED. Thanks for purchasing that nice white Jersey, and supporting the flames, but please put it in a box until September. Your Atire Should look like this:
RED

CP; Did you know that Thousands of Calgarians wear jerseys to the Dome that are not red? That's why I developed this unique new program for managing your wardrobe. It's called [presents book] "Don't Wear Jerseys that Are Not Red."
Wife: Let me see that... [grabs book, reads] "If you don't have a red jersey, you should not wear another color." Hmm, sounds interesting
Husband: Sounds confusing.
Husband: Well let's say I don't have a red jersey. Should I wear black or white?
CP: No-o-o-o.
Wife: Well what if you have a red jersey, can you wear it?
CP: Yes.
Wife: Now take the red away. Same story?
CP: Nope. You shouldn't wear jerseys that are not red.
Announcer: So get in style now, write for your free copy of "Don't Wear Jerseys That Are Not Red." If you order now you'll also receive, "Seriously, If You Don't Have A Red Jersey, Don't Wear Another Color!" Along with a 12-month subscription to "Stop Wearing Black or White." So order today!

Ace,
I don't have any red clothing. I am, however, a wholesale distributor of red body paint. Is it ok to not wear a shirt and put this red body paint all over my chest and back? It's confusing because I won't be wearing red, but I'll BE red..is that ok?
Thanks,
calf

If I don't have access to red body paint, will a really bad sunburn work?

^^I love the guy right in front of you with GREY on, like seriously...
Red Paint = Good. But it must cover you as good as a Red shirt or Jersey. And if you're a beer spiller there is a chance that the red paint will wash off. Then you would simply be half naked. Also be sure your comfortable with the no shirt, no shoes, no service policy.
Red sun burn, you need to be careful with this one, as it's very hard to control the correct shade of RED.

Oh God this is a good thread. Do note the 52 people who did not wear red in the C of Red above. That's right, they stand out like sore thumbs. Except that sore thumbs are likely red, so they stand out like the black plague. (Or white plague).

I'm sure The Dion will take care of that for us with an "errant" shot over the glass at anyone not wearing red.

I'd also like to add, it's not called the "White Mile".
Or the "Black Mile with a fire-breathing Donkey".
It's not "Red Hat with random colour shirt Mile".
And it's most certainly not "I'd wear red but I was cold Mile".
Great thread ACE. And yes, I go out of my way to yell at Flames Fans @ the Dome who don't wear RED come playoff time!
