it's been a great game though... rather 'spicy'!!

stars - hawks game... dallas goal waved off for goalie interference, but it sure looked like the chicago player took the dallas player into the chicago goalie

**edit - dallas is challenging... wins challenge

**edit again - apparently it now isn't a goal and dallas i short handed. i obviously don't know what they use to 'measure' goalie interference

The Jets have a 3-2 lead on the Wild after forty minutes. The teams keep alternating goals with the Jets always taking the one goal lead. The faceoffs are in the Jets favour, 20-8.

The Bruins are up 2-1 heading into the third period.

Benn scores to close the gap, 3-2 Blackhawks.

Barkov has tied it at 2-2.

Namestnikov has three points as he assisted on Barron's goal, 4-2 Jets.

8 point lead on McLottery now, I'll set the over/under at 24 minutes tonight with 70% offensive zone starts.

Would be so amazing watching Crosby in the playoffs this year. Seemed impossible a month ago.

I think the Oilers are pushing for McDavid to get the 100 assists as a priority.

Everyone mocks the Oilers and the icetime (rightfully) but McKinnon and Rantanen, last I checked, were getting leaned on by Colorado even more, which makes what Kucherov is doing even more impressive. He should be the Hart winner and it's not even close imo.

You would think the priority would be to keep him fresh for the playoffs but McPoints always trumps brains, but Oilers just goin to Oil

Looks like Sens and Habs are trying to keep status quo on their draft positions. One of them might even go down to 5th spot to overtake the Coyotes if Arizona gets confident after beating the VGK last night. Flames should just forfeit the remaining games after BOA.

Flyers have lost 7 in a row, including to the Habs, Hawks, Sabres, and now the Blue Jackets. With the drama around Tortorella increasing, is he gone if they miss the playoffs?

I doubt it as just the fact they are even in a playoff hunt is a miracle with that lineup.

I bet he regrets his Couturier benching though. I liked it but it's pretty clear his teammates didn't.

Why is it a miracle with that lineup?

A touch light on quality defensemen but the forward group is great.

Dobson scored midway through the second period, 1-0 Islanders after forty minutes. Coach Roy is going to tell his players to lock it down. It will be hang on style with Varlamov in net going for the shutout. He has stopped 22 shots so far.

Bruins swept the Panthers 4-0 this regular season. Flames swept the Bruins 2-0 and went 1-1 against the Panthers. Bruins and Panthers are fighting for the President's Trophy, while the Flames are eliminated from playoff contention with 7 games left in the season.

Hockey, ladies and gentlemen.

Losing Hart?

Torts gets a lot out of his team. The challenge is the message gets stale pretty fast.

His presser this week is a must watch.

If Philly fires him, I hope the Devils jump on him.
