Those were the good old days. Believe me the fact they are trying extract as much money as possible from their customers did not go flying over my head.

I guess the shoulders have nothing to do with a western theme and must be something that Reebok came up with.

This might be the reason it looks like a bag of ####, IMO.

Wow.

I like the jersey but I'm really not a fan of the chrome logo series. Seems too late 90's/early 2000's for this day and age. I like the idea of a similar styled logo for all the teams in the stadium series, but the execution was poor IMO.

I'm actually kinda hoping all the stadium series jerseys are "futuristic" looking, the chrome logos aside (they are truly horrible) it's a great showcase for some different ideas like those inside laces and even the diagonal stripes on the arms.

Given that these are one off's it's absolutely the place to try stuff like this. I know fans are huge fans of the retro/old school, but there's no reason the NHL shouldn't explore some forward looking designs as well. I do hope they cool it with the outdoor games next year, but I like seeing the unique design choices they are pushing.

This would have been near perfect imo (disregarding questionable photoshop skills).

The Distant Future, The Distant Future. The year 2000. The world is very different every since the robotic uprisings of the mid 90s. There is no more unhappiness.

Seems like they are experimenting with a logo that does not reference long island. Team is going to spend some time in Brooklyn for awhile. Might see a few more uniform changes soon.

I like it. 1 billion times better than their third roller hockey jersey. Although it's easy to be better than 0.

I think its a good look, but I agree the logo could use a little Orange. Maybe just a stripe just inside the edge so the chrome still shows on the other side of it too.

Spoiler!
This was exactly my thought. The silver washes out the logo, an orange outline would make it pop and turn a 6.5/10 into an 8.5/10.

Further evidence that letterforms, and by extension wordmarks, make the best logos.
