how is Begovic still at Stoke? Head-scratcher. A club like Arsenal should be all over a guy like him.

Scoring Winger

Anthony Taylor is having a shocker, he should be relegated to championship.
- Szczęsny should have been sent off early in the game
- Luna gets a yellow for receiving a kick to his manhood from Ox
- Gives a very dodgy penalty to Villa on a brilliant challenge from Koscielny (who receives a yellow as well somehow)
- Subsequently sends off Koscielny for a 2nd yellow.
All that said, Arsenal don't deserve to be winning this. Wenger playing players out of position and not having a full squad are much bigger reasons for the current score.

I've not been watching the game, but sure sounds like Arsenal is having some early season problems that they need to deal with quickly if they want to be in the discussion this year.

Same old Arsenal. What a frustrating team to support. Every year it's the same story: we need to strengthen every position, especially our defense (decent first choice players but no depth to get through the inevitable injuries), a bad start to the season, some last minute buys at the end of the transfer window that take a few months to settle into the team and another battle to hopefully sneak into the Champions League.
And of course, the ref in today's game was terrible - nothing like picking up two yellows, conceding a penalty and getting sent off all without touching an opponent. Yes, the second yellow is one that is called often enough despite there being no contact but usually a second yellow takes more than that.

Some really tough questions need to be asked at Ashburton Grove:
- It has to be Wenger's last season but is he allowed to run out his contract or do they ask him to step down soon so a new plan can be implemented sooner rather than later?
- Do you spend money on the sub-quality players that are left on the market who you'll have to get rid of later or do you heavily over-pay to get the ones you need?
- Who's in charge of preparing Tottenham's meals?
The ref had a torrid time today but it's not his fault we had to move a quasi-holding mid into the CB position with a substitution to spare. He's actually a bit fortunate because the attention must be directed internally.

That finish by Welbeck was brilliant. Just a perfectly floated chip.

Did his job, plenty of effort and running and played big parts in the last two goals but boy does he give the impression via body language sometimes of someone who looks like they don't want to be there. Or .... I could be reading too much into it and it might simply be a case of not wanting to celebrate a 3-0 goal.
