Vancouver could have a lot to say about the Oilers making the playoffs. Lets hope Willy has them playing hard down the stretch.

Man is it annoying we pissed those 4 games away against edmonton early in the season. If we flip Calgary and edmontons record, Calgary is tied for the division lead and edmonton is in 9th place. Yeah we spotted them that big a lead yet we're back in front.
Without McDavid they're still a lottery team.

I think the Oilers will still make it unfortunately, but yeah a home and home to end the season, if it means something for the Oilers, leaves no option but to cheer for Vancouver that weekend, full stop.

Man if the Flames even split the season series the Oilers are neck and neck with the Kings and Blues for the last two spots while the Flames are eyeing the Sharks for first in the division. Would be nice not to have the face the Oilers early in the season as that's usually when they get their wins against the Flames.

The team does kind of look a bit gassed. McDavid can skate for miles but Draisaitl and Maroon both look fatigued.

Leon Draisaitl is doing what he does best, and vanishing down the stretch, he did it last year, and in the last 10 games he's got 1 goal 4 assists and a minus 5.
The 10 games before that he had 4 goals (including a two goal game against Anaheim) and 5 assists and a plus minus of 0.
He's starting to look like a guy that has trouble when the pressure is on in the NHL.
