It feels like summer until you're reminded it isn't when it starts getting dark at 4:30.
I don't even hate snow that much, it's just annoying when 10 cm shuts the city down like a few weeks ago and it takes 3x longer to get anywhere.

I'll give him points for creativity. I hadnt heard that one before.
Although he should go to one of those meals the Masons put on occasionally, they cant organize a catered lunch much less Global intrigue and catastrophic conspiracy.
Or is that what they want us to think....

What is annoying about winter is when it comes early and leaves late, like that one friend we all have.
Winter that shows up late Nov or Early Dec then leaves mid/late March, that is a good winter.

We need snow, we need lots of it, and we need it badly. The alternative is rain (and lots of that too) and I much prefer snow. We desperately need the moisture, more so on the prairies rather than the mountains but obviously need it there too for plenty of reasons.

So true. I just can't stand the though of another summer like the least one with so much smoke.
Early fall I remember a couple days where it rained all day, non stop. I remember thinking at the time couldn't recall the last time that happened at that's a really scary thought.

The best soiree is when the Masons and their weather machine (plot of Superman III) and the Jewish space laser social committee gets together. They know how to party like its 1999.

The concept that the Jews would develop a 'Space Laser' is preposterous. They've got bigger fish to fry...granted, one could conceivably fry those fish with a space laser is entirely notwithstanding.
Everyone knows that the Masons are just a front to divert attention away from the real Global Supervillains! The Mississippi National Guard!
And pray to God you dont get by them, because the next phase is brutal.

Why do I not know snow is coming these days until it's on the ground?

Have to follow the news?
Quote:
Wednesday will be the coldest day of the week, as a short burst of winter weather brings cooler temperatures and a chance of flurries.
At 8 a.m. it will feel like -7C with the wind chill. In the afternoon, a high of 3C. A high of 2C is normal for this time of year, to put that in perspective.
By 3 p.m., Calgary gets into the chance of flurries. We will likely see on-off flurries until about 2 a.m. Thursday.
|
They were pretty much bang on with what was coming.

Yeah, I look at my weather apps every other day.
Snow wasn't in today's forecast from what I could tell. POP yesterday said either 20 or 30%. So unless they changed it literally today as the system was rolling in, this wasn't well forecasted.
Maybe I need to switch to the same weather source you're using.

Accuweather and The Weather Network apps all had the snow for the afternoon/evening yesterday. Showing on Tuesday when I checked, and chose to roll the winter bike yesterday as a result.
