Shane O'Brien looks like he's trying to be Bobby Orr again.
And why can't Stajan just shoot the puck instead of try the stupid blind drop pass?

Byron trying to make up for most of the other Flames' lackadaisical play.

At least Paul Byron showed up tonight. This game is as painful as getting teeth pulled.

This is a bad team and now that the other teams are in mid-season form it is showing.
We don't have the talent, size, speed, or skill to compete with the better teams in the league and it is simple as that. Plus now that the team has no confidence those problems are magnified. We will have the odd game where a strong effort will catch a team off guard.
Just have to look forward to the trade deadline and hope that the infusion of youth makes things more bearable. Look at this Tampa roster and what the strong youth has provided for them this year even though the majority of hockey fans can't name half their roster.
|
it is pretty safe to say that you can count the players on one hand, playing in this game, that will be part of the solution going forward. Most of the key cogs haven't even played in the NHL or even drafted.

At least Ramo is playing well. Malarchuk deserves a lot of credit this season.

Those guys can't skate well enough to catch anyone in the Tampa lineup. You gotta catch something before you can hit it.
