The Oilers got a huge boost (understatement of the year) when that last lottery ball came up in their favor. Can you imagine if they stayed at 3 and picked up Strome. Divine intervention is the only reason they are where they are. It has nothing to do with their management.
The card holding ABE in me says there is a lot of season to play still, but they have put themselves in a good position.

Its a complete overwhelming glee fest by the so called professionals that cover the Oilers with Staples and Specter with their ridiculously unprofessional bragging today.
They're like the football player that gets into the endzone and spikes the ball and does the Icky Shuffle and basically embarrasses himself because he can't act like he's been in the end zone before.

We're a little demoralized right now, its pretty tough to get up and post in this thread when your sitting in a dark room, eating ice cream and watching reruns of Gem and the Holograms.
While Edmonton and its team are a stinking pool of absolute no good, at the moment, it pales in comparison to the stinking pool of poop that the Flames are laying down.

If you are real, or even if you aren't, please let edmonton make the playoffs and have all their obnoxious fans start chanting dynasty and the like.
Then let them lose in the first round in 5 games to the Flames. Also, please make sure the oilers don't win a game at home in the playoffs.
