That's what happens when two of your best offensive players are no longer on the team for a while (One permanently, other other likely missing come playoff time).

Okay, fine. Backlund wasn't THAT important...but Lundmark seemed pretty integral for them.

Reg...you need to change your Nick Larson link to this...

You've got some other Nick Larson in there.

Spitfires are having a special ceremony before the game tomorrow night to honour Mickey Renaud. It will be 2 years tomorrow since Mickey passed away.

Nemisz with 1 goal, 1 assist tonight in the Spits 5-1 win over Mississauga.

Steve Ott and Kyle Wellwood attended the game tonight.

Good one.

Yes, it's fine, no collapsing or anything even though they all sat in the same box together with a few other Spitfire alumni, whose names I don't remember.

Anyone know why Bouma with the Giants and Brodie with the Colts are not playing? I am assuming injuries?

Don't know about Brodie but...

Seems like Bouma's injury list is fairly long for a young guy. Hopefully he doesn't turn into another Armstrong...

The Brampton Battalion got to test its late-season roster against the best in the Ontario Hockey League on Sunday. While losing the game, the Troops passed the test.

Bryan Cameron scored at 17:37 of the second period to lift the Barrie Colts to a hardfought 2-1 victory that clinched the Central Division title for the Colts, who boast the league's best record and are guaranteed home-ice advantage through the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Brodie sat out after blocking a shot in an 8-5 win over the visiting Windsor Spitfires on Saturday night

Don't look now. But Backlund just had another 2 point +1 night. Kids PPG pace has picked up big time.

Might see a lot more of it if Sutter decides to keep Conroy playing instead of Backlund.

And if this happens its horrible coaching. Conroy should be the 13 forward right now. I mean what a horrible message to backludn if it happens. Hey kid, you played great in the NHL. Much better than many veterans, however you can go back to the minors because we dont reward based on results but loyalty.

Nemisz with a goal last night in a chippy 6-3 win over Plymouth. He played really well, good physical game from him.

Tyler Seguin got #46 last night, man he is good!

Mitch Wahl with another 2 point night, so far. 1 point behind 5th in WHL scoring. Second in assists in the WHL with 60 (first is a tie with 61 assists). And the game isn't over yet tonight for the Cheifs.
