We'll have to make sure that the game isn't cancelled tomorrow and call James sometime. Even if the game is a go, I somehow doubt either team will field many players. If I'm going to go out there, there better be a damn game.

Yeah I'd like some confirmation that both teams are showing if possible. I'm not driving all the way out there for the other team to field 5 guys.

If I recall correctly, the refs and scorekeepers who work in Chestermere all live there. So I'm sure they're fine to come out. It's the other team ditching tht's the problem.

Good game last night, fellas. Except for McCutcheon who decided to do his best impression of Sean Avery during the first shift, which sent me to the box and a 5-minute, 3-goal f*** up that we couldn't overcome. Otherwise, it was a solid effort from both sides.

Yeah, that was a fun game. Your team is good at gaining the zone and setting it up. I think we collapse too far back a lot of the time, but it seemed to work against you guys. Someone somehow stepped on my leg and cut my calf with their skate... not sure how the hell that was possible. Either way, great game. That one PK you were on, you held the puck in your corner for what seemed like an eternity. Couldn't get it off you. haha.

On another note, it seems we have a game scheduled against 'West Jet' on Jan. 2 at Cardel Place. Not sure if this is a screw up or not, but likely is as there is no West Jet team in our division, nor the ones directly above or below us. There is, however, a West Jet team in the 'Silver' division (whatever that is). Furthermore, it appears that team West Jet is playing the Shames (our division) and the Bears (Div.4) in January also.

I believe "Silver" was a +40 division they were putting together. I guess maybe they just want to get those teams out playing against more opponents?
