What round do you think Lindholm will go in the draft? There’s 9 rounds and the NHL.com mock draft predicts the 7th.

league just can't get out of their own way...why are they putting teammates together as captains...people want to see players play with other players and against their own teammates

If the NHL truly cared about the fans caring about the all-star game, this would be done every year. Make the skills competition worth $$$ for the winners and have each team hold a mandatory skills competition where ticket are no more than $10.00. The winners from all teams go. 32 teams, easy bracket. Many of the events could have 2, some even four (shot accuracy), groups of players going at once.

The all-start game is nothing more than a schmooze-fest where players are pawns in trying to bring in more HRR. Which is fine, but quit selling it as an even for fans. It is not even close!

amazing how fast Zebulon's star has fallen, I even considered a Zebulon jersey at one time. He just doesn't care anymore after he lost the linemates that were propping up his game.

Yeah, I agree. Then we'd really know who is the fastest skater, who has the hardest shot, etc.

Also what's with the Skills Competition being on at noon on Friday? It used to be on Saturday night and the All-Star game was on Sunday afternoon.

The all star game stopped being interesting when they started messing around with the format in the mid 90s. Keep it simple. Best players in the league from both conferences. Then you have an actual skills competition.

Instead they've turned the whole thing into an exhibition of the players they want to highlight, but most of those players come across as totally disinterested and spoiled.
