Well crap, had too much stuff to do when I got home and only remembered to check now. No digital version pre-orders available anywhere. Is that it for all pre-orders? Or will stores be releasing more stock sometime later?

The source said won’t ship until launch day so I went with Walmart who just gave an estimate.

But then I got an email from Walmart that it’s been delayed. Is this normal or are they taking unlimited orders and just randomly cancelling orders that they don’t have stock for?

I think the delay email is automated. I've gotten it in the past for games I've pre-ordered with them.

IDK bestbuy said my PS4 wouldn't ship until launch but it arrived on launch day...none of them will have accurate dates right now I don't think.

That was an automated email from walmart that everyone got

Looks like it'll be shortages when it actually releases and whatevers reserved for launch day in store won't be last long with how fast pre-orders getting snapped up.

With PS3 even some launch week pre-orders ended up being a month post-launch. Wonder how bad it will this time.

Does anyone know if it's worth buying the Ultimate Edition of the Miles Morales Spider-Man game if you already have the PS4 version of Spider-man? It says the UE comes with remastered versions of the original game and all DLC, but I thought that if you had the original game it would be remastered through an update once the PS5 came out?

I think it's meant for people who never bought the original. It's just a download code too. Unless I read it wrong it sounds like if you have the digital version you can download a PS5 version and if you have the disc version it will patch it.

I'm confused by this as well. The Insomniac blog post certainly makes it sound like a different beast than the PS4 upgrade.

I think the remaster is a new release, not something that you’ll get as a free upgrade for owning the current release.
