You couldn't pay me to watch a game in Arlington at 1pm in the middle of the summer.

Just an FYI, all three games this weekend at Rogers Centre are 100% sold out already. Impressive.

I think the Indians series early next week will be the first poor (well poor for the new normal) crowds we've seen in a while. Looking at ticketmaster there appears to be 15 -20k tickets available each night. Obviously things could change over the weekend, but Jays fans seem to purchase tickets well in advance for the most part (especially now a days).

Nothing going on offense so far, but a lot of decent at bats has pushed Gillardo's pitch count to almost 100 through 5. Should see some bullpen arms soon.

Damn, bad time for EE to strike out. Need Navarro to get a clutch hit here.

Well that's certainly a deflating strike out after a promising inning. Too bad.

Oh my, great chance for the Jays to at least tie it up, 2 strikeouts later the inning is over.

Bautista and Donaldson did a lot in that inning to help their team get them home, that one hurts.

I'm not worried, the entire lineup will have another go at it. You got to figure with their pen being tired that someone will mess up.

EE has been seeing the ball so well; I was surprised he struck out there.

Oh boy, we're going to lose some games along the way and today definitely feels like one of those games. You can't strand runners this much and still win.

Although, as is always the case, if there's one team that can it's the Jays. It just feels like a weird game over all, from being in the afternoon on a weekday to the eerie empty stadium.

They're almost literally not playing in front of people, and certainly not playing in front of a major league crowd. So odd that they do this in MLB, although I'll stop mentioning because I've said it like 3 times now, lol.

"Yeah, we'll just go with no fans today so our team can get a head start on flying out tonight". Could you imagine an NHL club trying to justify that?
