I don’t have my iPad at the moment so I can’t say for sure. I know the app icon spacing look better for sure but I’m not positive about widgets.

Tempered glass screen protectors, I’m a huge fan of these JETech ones: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07515P7PT/
They don’t have a mounting frame but use hinge stickers instead which actually makes it really easy to install. I’ve been using them for a few years now. I would say the end result is equal to or better than the Ghost Armor tempered glass that I’ve had installed at Chinook.

I haven't activated yet, but you get three months of Apple arcade with the purchase of the phone, or at least that's what I saw on the Pro Max

Yeah I'm going to wait to activate until there's a game I really want to try.
This battery sure feels a lot bigger (probably partly due to bigger battery, partly due to old phone having old battery).

Fantasian is pretty good for a mobile game.

Is anyone using a good antispam call app on their iPhone they'd recommend? These are driving me nuts lately and turning it to 'mute calls not in contacts list' is causing me to miss too many calls from legit sources (i.e. work and calls from the kids school).
I've tried TrueCaller and it did nothing - though I was only on the free version.

My work phone (Galaxy S10e) has Hiya installed and it is really good at flagging suspected spam / scam / telemarketer calls, but I think it is able to tie into the Phone APIs much tighter than Apple allows. The same app on iOS doesn’t seem to get the same praise.

I’m eager to get the new iOS but haven’t received a notification. Why do some devices have it but not all? I realize that’s a lot of downloads, and imagine spacing them out is the reason.

Just check under settings->general->software update.
I didn’t have a badge notifying me of an update, I just checked and it was ready to download & install.

I’ve done that. It says my software is up to date and no option to download iOS 15. I know it will come.

Then it should be available. It might be at the bottom of the screen and you have to scroll down a bit to click the iOS 15 upgrade option.

The battery life has been great so far on the 13 Pro Max. Charged it overnight Sunday and didn't have to charge it again until last night. I'm not using my phone any less either.

I found there's a company that makes actual sapphire screen protectors for phones:
https://shellrus.com/collections/all...41141074133141
As expected though it's pretty expensive. Probably easier to just get a decent one at normal prices and replace it when it gets too scuffed up.

Does anybody have the problem with Safari crashing on some websites on their phones? Was there a way to stop it from doing this? It will sometimes reload the page or eventually just crap out.

Wtf? I hear people talking on my phone. It sounds like a livestream or something. No apps are playing and if I do play something you hear both things. Weird

Wow that is the same glass as Rolex uses and those never ever scratch.
$72 is steep but if it stays on it maybe once per phone.
