I find Up All Night boring. I agre with the shoehorning in of Maya Rudolph, apparently she was supposed to be bit character but the success if Bridesmaids prompted them to write her in more than they planned. That show sucks.
Whitney - I will give it a few more watches, has some funny parts.
Free Agents - I actually kind of like. Clever dialogue.
Two Broke Girls - I laugh at this show. I have known so many girls that are one of the two (and many in between). It's not great, but since I watch all three shows around it, this is the one that I will watch the most I suspect.
Persn of Interest - neat premise, will continue to watch.
House was great, I'm hooked for another season. Easily my wife and I's favourite show.
I am pretty disappointed Free Agents is on the verge of being cancelled, for me it has been right up there with New Girl as one of the best new comedies, really hope they give it more of a chance. Another new show I've liked so far is Revenge, will be interesting to see where they take the show moving forward.
Cannot believe Up All Night got picked up, same with Whitney, I think they're both pretty subpar shows and don't see either one getting much better. How to be a Gentleman was just terrible, it's like they found the two worst actors in hollywood and picked them out as the leads, that show has to be cancelled immediately.

So no good new shows this year? New Girl is just OK, not Big Bang Theory funny and probably a little over-rated because how bad other new shows were.
wtf? not Big Bang Theory funny? The Big Bang Theory hasn't been funny in 2 seasons. Outside Kaley Cuoco (who I watch because she is so fine) and Jim Parsons there is nothing funny about that show. Nothing clever, and the jokes are becoming more and more obvious/easy.
New Girl at least has more than 1 interesting character.
As someone who watches The Big Bang Theory regularly, I have no idea how in the blue hell this show is so popular.
There are so many better comedies than it, and yet it gets better ratings than them all.

This one still to come. Since Terra Nova was such a flop for me, hoping this is at least fun to watch:
I'm looking forward to Grimm as well. Premise seems interesting and something right up my ally and it is on the same night as Chuck so I'll have two shows to watch on the Saturday now.
I was interested in this show, but couldn't find it on TV.
Anyone know if it is showing in Canada??
When they announced the launch of FX Canada, it was one of the shows they mentioned would be on its schedule, so I guess we have to wait until the end of October when the channel launches (and hopefully Shaw picks it up).

Modern Family last night was hilarious, the funniest episode yet. Free Agents looks decent, not a show I'm going to follow but I'll watch it if it's on.
New Girl is definitely one of the best new shows. That third episode had me howling again. Good characters, good writing and just damn funny. That paired with Raising Hope makes for a great hour of comedy on Fox.
I wish that the Coach character would have stuck around (from the pilot), I liked him more than his replacement.
Otherwise, yeah, the Mrs. and I are finding it enjoyable.
Zooey's quirkiness needs to be toned down as I actually find the roomates more enjoyable to watch in Ep 3 than she does.
Yeah I'd agree with that. I'd imagine it'll taper off eventually, once the cross-epsiode storylines/plot arcs get developed more. Right now they're just focusing on each character's main trait, and hers happens to be "quirky", which isn't all that dynamic to watch week after week.

Guess because I knew he wouldn't be staying (as soon as Happy Endings got renewed), I prepared myself for it. I agree, the replacement is not as good, but I warmed up to him much more after the last episode.
