Schneiders season ended tonight too. Canes beat the Tigers in game 7 OT. Schneider never played in the playoffs.
I wonder if he goes to Stockton too?

Perhaps Adirondack for him? Could depend on what happens with the Flames tonight. If they lose and Gillies goes back, having four (or five if McDonald is still around) goalies might not make sense.

The trouble Schneider is going to have is how many teams are going to want to carry an overage goalie who lost his job at 19. He could end up like Falkovsky with no where to play except pro.

Find an ECHL team to take him as a backup.

My beer league team needs an upgrade in net. We'd take him for a year. Pay is #### though, could probably give him free beer.

Not sure why this thread died, but the Rockets season is still going.
They won game two in overtime of the "Western Conference Championship" last night. Dube had an assist. Up to 17p in 13 games in his playoff run.

Kelowna dropped game 3 to Seattle. Dube with an assist in a 2-1 loss. The series is now 2-1 for Seattle.

Flames prospect Dillon Dube had 2 a last night to extend his playoff point-streak to six games (1 g, 10 a). Kelowna-Seattle series tied 2-2.
Dube 8th in WHL scoring for the playoffs and with the exception of Sam Steel everyone above him are from draft years older than Dube.

Dube can definitely rack up points. They mainly seem to be secondary assists on the PP but they still count on the scoresheet.

Rockets eliminated last night.
Dube finished the playoffs with 17gp 7g 14a 21pts -5.
Should be going to Stockton assuming he can get a Visa worked out before Stockton's playoffs end.
All Flames' prospects are done in the CHL for this season.

For those worried about Tuulola's development with Everett, the Tips declined to renew Constantine's contract a month ago and have announced the hiring of Dennis Williams.
Supposedly Williams style as a coach is to play a puck possession type game.

Can't disparage Constantine's record as a head coach in the WHL, but that low scoring style must have been boring as hell to watch year after year. Plus, other than his first year there in his first stint, they've never really gone deep in the playoffs either. A coaching change doesn't seem all that surprising.

No Flames at the Memorial Cup so not a lot to talk about obviously, but it's fun to see both OHL teams a combined 5-1 (with the one loss coming because they played each other) and knowing that Parsons came within one OT goal of eliminating both these teams from the OHL playoffs.

Big question left is where does Rittich fit?
Schneider back to WHL.
Parsons ECHL/AHL
MacDonald ECHL/AHL
Gillies AHL
I don't think you make Parsons and MacDonald a tandem in the ECHL. Maybe you do? I am curious if the Flames end up re-signing Rittich. Huska spoke highly of him. Pascal spoke highly of him. He came over and did well in the AHL. Did fine for his first ever showing (a half game - small sample size is small) in the NHL too. Unless the Flames looked at Rittich as a stop-gap only, and needed to completely blow them away to be considered a long-term asset, I would say he has delivered on his potential thus far, and should be re-signed.

Parsons seems too good to play in the ECHL, but starting in the ECHL for half a season wouldn't be too bad. The problem is the Flames don't own a ECHL team any more so it might be hard to have a team guarantee enough games for him.
I think MacDonald should be in the ECHL until he proves he can play well at that level and Parsons and Gillies should be in the AHL.
I don't believe the Flames think Rittich can be trusted as a NHL backup so I doubt he's re-signed.
