Who was the worst player/goalie to play for the Flames?

Bertuzzi started great but I’m pretty sure I remember a 20 game goal drought and then was awful in playoffs. Close pals with Iggy though and you need to keep your stars happy when they ask you to bring in a guy.

The worst good player I’ve ever seen here was Freddy Modin when Feaster bought his old buddy for a 7th. He was so cooked it was kind of sad


The worst player I’ve ever seen on NHL ice was in the preseason we had a Russian D man invite under Gulutzan. He was genuinely so bad they benched him completely in the first period of a preseason game. Can still remember Paul Jerrard (rip) going to tell him he was done mid game.

One of the only effective players in the playoffs that year? He had 2 points in 6 games, good enough to be tied with Adam Pardy for 11th in points.

There was a reason Sutter didnt want him back.

He provided offense and stability on the 2nd line. Sutter did lots of things wrong that off-season. Should’ve kept the bulk of that team together. That team was solid, if it wasn’t for injuries late in the year, I bet that team would’ve went deep.

Nolan was there the year before Bertuzzi. Maybe that’s what you meant? They replaced Bertuzzi with Nigel freaking Dawes. Dismantled a very good hockey team and the collapse started.

Probably more like a usage/coach/injury thing, but man there was some hype with him.
