Korpisalo too? Doesn't CBJ have to protect Bobrovsky?

Doan is an idiot. He's a good hockey player but his opinion on things is way too strong.

I don't think Colorado moves Pickard. I just don't see Raanta being anything more than a backup. Who knows what Berube is, he hasn't played much at all in the last 2 years, and before that his AHL numbers were just ok. Nashville doesn't have much incentive to move Saros. Detroit only moves Mrazek if they really need the cap space. That leaves Grubauer, he is near the top of my list. He has put up solid numbers at pretty much every level, now he just needs a chance to play, which he won't get in Washington.

No doubt. I'd be on the verge of crying too if I had spent my whole career with that franchise.

As of tonight, Doan hasn't asked to be moved
Chris Johnston @reporterchris
John Chayka says Shane Doan hasn't yet indicated a desire to move on from Arizona.

He's probably worried all his dirty bull#### will get a lot more noticed in a market where people actually know hockey exists. Gotta worry about that legacy!

the Arizona feed was talking about how Hanzal and White are UFA and may re-sign with Arizona after this year.
seem to spend their time trying to console anyone foolish enough to be watching their feed/team

So Bishop will likely face us on Tuesday. Kings play tomorrow and then against us on Tuesday.
Back to back so I can't see a situation where Bishop doesn't start one of those games.

Guy wants to show loyalty to his team and keep his family in a stable home they love.
What a turd.

Which is fine, but he should be a little smarter and realize what the situation is there and not get salty about a trade that look towards the future.
What was he expecting? A bunch of moves to try and short term fix that tire fire?

Hes not the only guy with a family. And his career is pretty much over. His family will survive a few months while he takes his only shot at the cup.

His family doesn't have to go anywhere, and it's not like they're not used to him being gone on road trips. This is just a 3 to 4 month road trip instead of a week or two road trip, and this would be the last 'road trip' of his career. Starting in late June, or earlier, he doesn't ever need to go anywhere again if he doesn't want to.

I'm not a fan of Chayka's quote to the press.
Nothing in that says "loyalty" to the franchise's face for 20 years. It's more of a passive aggressive way to force Doan to wave.

Meh. If the guy wants to finish his career in PHX, he should be able to do that. Unique in the modern NHL--I like it!

He's defending Doan and facing media questions on whether he'll be next.
You seriously think he randomly released that statement without anyone from the media asking him to comment specifically on Doan?

Or, when he doesn't move because no one wanted him, they can sell it as him being loyal to the team.
