Yeah, that whole Rose story line was just really bad for me.
And you would think that a Resistance would have a couple of hackers or code breakers on staff.
I would have changed it, to having "DJ" as a member of the resistance, they get him to go on the mission and he betrays them because he's a First Order Agent.
And then before the hyperspace collision happens, the Storm trooper lops off Rose's head and boots it out of the airlock.
But I guess they wanted to really pound into our head that the downtrodden and ordinary people don't want to be involved in a 1%'er war.

GLOW season two is up. They've really gone whole hog on the Hollywood cocaine stuff.

There's two cameo's in the last episode of the year that frankly was awesome and really well done.

I just watched the Unsolved series on Tupac & Biggie’s murder investigations. It was awesome. Highly recommend.

When I first saw it in the library I thought it was just another documentary on the murders of 2pac and Biggie. Ended up watching the first episode and was interested. Will continue to watch

Watched part of the Martin Short / Steve Martin special on Netflix, but didn't get through it. It was a little too much of the old-timey variety show humour, that I don't think plays very well anymore.
The Ken Burn's Vietnam War series is quite good. It's interesting to see how it went on for so long and everybody wanted to call it quits, but they stuck with it, throwing more and more soldiers at it.

Money Heist is superb. I don't know how they can do a story about criminals breaking into a mint for two seasons but we love this show. The dubbing is excellent and the characters are great.

Glow season 2 went too fast. I chewed through it at a surprising pace.
Really good and they have at least two more seasons of material to work through before they jump a shark.
i recommend watching the Glow documentary if you're a fan of the show.

^Haha crushed 8 episodes last night. Sadly can't finish it until later this week but season 2 has been stellar.
The 80's TV montage was as good of a retro throwback as I've seen since Futurama's "Saturday Morning Fun Pit".

The glow documentary was really well done and sad.
The one really big thing is that the Melanie Rose character is based on Tina Ferrari who later became Ivory in the WWE and is now a Hall of Famer.
They've kind of departed a bit from the Glow story line at the end of the season.
Such a fun solid show to watch.

Eh, I actually got really bored and had to turn it off about 2/3's of the way through. You can only rehash the same thing for so long without really anything else before I will change it.

I wouldn’t bother. You should just watch the 30 for 30 doc on the whole thing. I tonya is essentially that but with actors and makes Harding out to be some sort of hero. Bad movie IMO.

I thought I, Tonya was pretty good. It kind f felt like a Coen Brothers movie.
