ipad 2 restocked at several future shop stores just now. Northland got over 40. I went in to get one and was nice to see parents and kids getting their hands on one for a change instead of the loser scalpers who clean out stock to profit off it.

Is you buying an iPad the precursor to finally posting those alledged short skirt photos?

Would you buy an IPad that is "open box" at Future Shop? All of the warranties and such apply, and it looks/seems mint. $10 savings...

Unfortunately "watch ESPN" application works only if you're customer of Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks, Verizon High Speed or Verizon FiOS and have "appropriate ESPN video/TV channel package".
"ESPN ScoreCenter XL" seems to be working, but there are very few videos there.
BTW, there is a ticket submission form and suggestions are welcome, but not guaranteed ;-)

Looks like I got the light leak problem on my iPad. Went to the apple store yesterday and they are replacing it outright. I have to admit apple is very good with dealing with issues. I had a problem with my iPhone mic, people not hearing me talk and they replaced right at the store.

I picked up an Otterbox Defender case for my 1st gen iPad, after going with thin and minimal cases for quite a while, and I'll say this - if you want to turn it into an outdoor on the deck, at the campground, in the garage, at the playground with the kids, on the bus kinda device, this is your case.
I don't know if its something I'll use full time, but it turns the iPad into a satisfyingly thick and sturdy device, sort of the polar opposite of what it was originally built to be, which is more of a delicate, svelte indoor machine. The Tonka iPad has it's own appeal though, to be sure - you start considering taking it places (and leaving it out in places) that you might not otherwise.

I don't think so. The BB can only be used to tether via USB. It can't be used as a wifi hotspot.

i want an ipad 2 something fierce!
my question is... is there a device that combines storage with networking?
lets say I was on the road, and I wanted to bring along some movies to watch. could i have a router/hard drive combo in one?

There are loads of them.
Apple's time capsule does it but it's expensive.
It will be cheaper to get a router that supports USB drives, but obviously not as convenient.

Wouldn't it just be more convenient to the get 64GB IPAD2. Depending on compression levels you could put several seasons of a tv show and about 10 movies on the ipad, probably somewhere around 40-50 hours of video. That's tonnes for a trip. Also, you can delete as you go, so if you want to free up space and download on the fly it's no problem.

Yep, works for me.
A great app for the car guys is Car & Driver. It's the only magazine for the iPad I've ever had, so maybe they're all awesome, but this one blows me away. You get three issues for free with the app, but after I'm finished all those I'll pay for more. It makes the paper magazine completely obsolete.

I print to an HP Officejet 4500. As that particular printer is unsupported at this time, I use an app (on my mac) called Printopia which allows for wireless printing from the iPad, iPhone etc.
