Ekholm starts that whole melee and somehow the Flames end up shorthanded. Gotta help Bettmans darlings, I guess.

Speculating here but I don’t think the oilers want the game to be like this. They seem like they are limiting McDavid/Draisaitl’s ice times to mostly powerplay and the odd shift. I’m wondering if Perry is mad at Kane because he’s riling up the flames and he’s targeting them so the flames might start doing that to the oilers. Please do flames. Swing away.

It seemed to me that Perry was mad about Kane not going back to him behind the net in the Flames zone, he was wide open. Everything that happened after could of been avoided in Perry's eyes if Kane knew how to play hockey.

What did Kane do to Andersson on that replay? Andersson looked hurt.
Edit: I backed it up and went frame by frame. Kane high sticked Andersson in the face when Andersson was coming in for a hit.
