At one point it was rumoured that at the very least there was going to be an option to boot a player if people on your team agree. Totally with you on the delays. It's pretty simple, one pause per team per period rather than one per player and skip the replays altogether.

Speaking as someone who plays exclusively EASHL online, I love the skating change in theory. But it's going to be absolutely hilarious playing for the first couple of months in drop in and watching the - I do not exaggerate - 20 breakaways per period that will inevitably result from this "momentum" implementation.

I'm pretty interested to see how it affects my play style though. I'm a protect the puck, patient PWF who plays the half wall and looks for an open dude. I'm guessing it won't hurt, but it depends if they overplay the whole balance thing because obviously it requires quick pivots that the current system encourages. Though that issue might be totally offset by the elimination of defensive "tracking" where the defensive players can adapt instantly and keep up with you.

is it safe to assume that once a legend is in the game they stay in for future versions? wasnt sure if they were going to have to license each individual every version.

if they are able to add more to actually have a whole team it would be nice. i know lots whined about people like louongo and the sedins being on the legends roster even though they were just there to fill it out.

Hey BigDogg, any chance of an Al MacInnis, Doug Gilmour, or Joe Nieuwendyk cover? Not all of them, but maybe one of them? (Preferably in a Flames uniform haha).

Edit: Anybody trade in their NHL 12 recently? Wondering what the going rate for it is around town. According to http://www.tivs.ca/trade-in-values/ it was going for $18 as of the 10th. May pull the trigger on this as I missed out last year and only got $5.

These are much better, but I really hate EA trophies. The majority of people will at most play 1-2 seasons, yet there's 4 BRONZE trophies that would each probably take their own season (win the norris, win the hart, win the vezina, win the selke, win the calder). You could technically win several of those in a single year, but that's insane. I love trophies, but the ones that are basically impossible out the gate really grind my f'n gears.

I know it sounds ridiculous and insane, but I swear there is a job out there as a trophy/achievement consultant just waiting to be created. Games like Assassin's Creed 2 or Batman: Arkham City are just brilliant in how they do them. They dangle the carrot juuuust far enough out of reach that you can take a chance.

Still buying it and I'm still going to love it.

when nhl12 first came out, in the HUT auctions, you could sell things for as low as 50 pucks. it was great. there was actually a fair price to sell a 6 game contract card, or a +2 def card... because cards like that arent worth 150... but then a couple weeks later, the minimum went back up to 150. did ea provide any reasoning? they really nerfed the auction house by doing that.

i can only assume it was on purpose so they could just get people to but more packs instead of trading for what they needed...

its unfortunate how they do HUT. the reason i even brought it up is there is a trophy for using a change team card on a player. which is a cool idea... but i doubt i ever get to do it as i am sure they will be rare and super expensive... just like the change position cards were last year...

Hey not bad man. This stuff doesn't always come easy, I've been doing this kinda stuff since I was 15 (I'm 24 now), in fact I'm currently in a Graphic Media Design school. I'm doing this to stay sharp during the summer break.
What program are you using? I use Photoshop and it's what I would definitely recommend for this kinda stuff but there are free alternatives . I can hook you up with my template if you are interested in doing any more covers. The more covers and cover makers the better.

Oh and I just finished this request for someone.

I have no idea why they bumped it up. Your assumption is probably a good guess.
