Amazing run. I wonder what they will do for worlds? Ask good as Harris was preforming, playing another month into her pregnancy will be difficult and her sweeping is critical to the teams success.

Only 4 more sleeps and the Brier begins!!

Got them at +665 in that game and my $4 turned into $30.60.

The Worlds are not that far way. Einerson said thay they leave for Sweden next week, the 12th and the tournament starts on the 18th.

That said, the Worlds are a monster, 12 round robin games plus maybe 3 playoff games maybe they need someone more experienced than their current 5th?

Boetcher rink has scored 18 pts in 16 ends of curling, and surrendered 5.

Excited for the Bottcher-McEwen head-to-head match. Cheering for Bottcher all through the tournament.

What a big mistake. Looked like McEwan might even steal that end, all of a sudden Bottcher makes the perfect shot and it's 4!

Man...as good as Koe and crew are at up-weight shots, they are just terrible at making finesse draws thus far.

Tardi a big part of that.

Like the team though. Much better than what was going on last year with his team.

Never seen a foursome who looked more miserable together, particularly Morris and Neufeld.

I’m excited for head-to-head games involving Koe, Bottcher and Team Canada.

The Nova Scotia team is playing really well. A young team out of university that is 2-1. Only loss, a really close game against Alberta. The skip looks like a young Steve Yzerman.

McEwen was off to a hot start but has now struggled. Bad loss today to PEI.

That ls the difference between the mens game and juniors and part of Tardis transition to men’s. Juniors play a hitting game which is much simpler vs the draw game you see the top men’s teams play. It is no surprise to see the younger players and teams struggle at the Brier. It happens every year and it’s the primary reason we have not seen a young men’s team make any waves at the Brier for years now. Gauthier, Sturmay etc… cannot play the precise draw game (yet) that aBotcher/ Gushue/ Edin/ Mouat play. The top skips can all all play the hits to bail themselves out, but ideally they are drawing, tapping bumping, making the more difficult weight sensitive shots. Very few players have that feel and weigh control.

Interesting morning. Nova Scotia is leading Manitoba. Bottcher gave up a 4 to New Brunswick! But got that 4 back. Koe is struggling against Newfoundland!

Bottcher vs Team Canada just finished. Both Kennedy and Bottcher struggled in what was an easy Team Canada victory. For whatever reason, Bottcher played in back to back draws as they were on the ice in the early draw this morning as well. No reason for the draw format to be this way. Do not understand why the pools just don’t alternate every draw, another Curling Canada mystery.

At the start I predicted Koe and Bottcher in the final. Lots can happen to affect that but I’m still going with that final. It’d be a great final.

They did this before and people complained it was boring and sometimes the draw coughed up bad matchups only, same guys playing over and over. So they want to mix it up, have Bottcher and Koe play in the same draw sometimes even though they are in different pools.
