LOL. Never change Toronto Media. That apparently was Matthews’ 70th goal.

Nhl reffing is so random. There the ref stood there trying his hardest to find the puck which he clearly couldn't see. When it's supposed be whistled dead if the ref loses sight.

Yeah there was 0 chance he could see the puck there. Almost like he just didn't wanna blow the whistle.

And game 1 and a couple times during the season.
His biggest strength was his skating and it has seemingly faded to nowhere town
Simon Benoit and Ilya Lybushkin are playing ahead of him.

He has but in a corporate world Keefe could also be doing what his boss would want him to do. Brodie is prone to making mistakes but neither him or Gio are that bad if one of them are your last dmen with limited time.

It’s sad to see what’s happened to Brodie. Benoit and Lybushkin are both awful. The fact both are starting over Brodie isn’t a good sign for his career going forward.

Could see the Flames take a run at him for being on the last pairing. If he wants to stay around Toronto I could see the Habs doing the same.

re Brodie, I haven't watched him this year to say, but it's what happens to everyone. he's 33 (young for a regular person, but getting up there for an NHLer) and he's had a 908 game run- he's 13th for GP in his draft class (one guy ahead of him- Bailey - already retired- as have most of the guys behind him). the only guy drafted after him to play more games is Matt Martin
he did get into 72 this year , if he still wants to play someone will scoop him and he may well still make it to 1000 though he's more than 1 yr away so not sure about that
MacInnis, Suter, Morris, Phaneuf the 4 D drafted by Calgary to play more games than TJ Brodie
