If Israel wanted to destroy Gaza and every Palestinian in Gaza they could do it. It wouldn't take much trying. Not sure what you're basing your "genocide" comment on specifically but it seems hyperbolic, to say the least.

Not sure what you mean about countries not having the right to exist. A country is ultimately a collection of individual that identify under a certain nationality. Humans are social animals. Countries are ultimately just very big extensions of our natural social groups. If countries don't have the right to exist does that mean we should allow the US or Russia to take over Canada?

I'll just remind you that what kicked off this latest skirmish is the murder of civilians by Hamas. That's why we're even talking about this.

This is true, but it would be to obvious and Israel would not be able to hide behind its allies. Which is why (if one believes genocide is happening) a tactful approach has to be used.

your comment is asinine and irrelevant to what I was commenting about.

What I was referring to was Reds comment about if Israel wanted to destroy Gaza and all Palestinians, they could do it. Implying that they are not committing genocide because they are not just flat out making it obvious. The implication is not a fantastic argument to some one saying Israel is committing genocide because it does not address the fact that if Israel wanted to commit genocide, they could still do it with out being so obvious as to kill every Palestinian through military means alone.

It really seems like the entire story is made up and doesn’t reflect what happened at all.

What amazes me is that islamic militants have fired rockets at Israel for twenty years, over and over, occasionally Israel fights back, and the world condemns Israel. Where was everyone when the rocket attacks were happening? Where does everyone think these rockets were aimed? Schools, hospitals, houses, parks, totally random.

But the moment it might be an Israeli rocket, Israel can’t be trusted, Israel is ethnic cleansing, just the usual total nonsense that is an embarrassment. Some of the posters keep repeating the same lies over and over, there will never ever be anything to change their mind.
