Looking at the stats it appears Zverev had a good day on serve and return. Too bad as I was hoping for a Sinner vs Alcaraz final. I consider Medvedev and Zverev two of the more boring top players to watch as their games are more about being steady than spectacular so one of them being in the final is a bit of a bummer.

In case people are wondering, the reason Shapo isn't playing Davis Cup is not due to injury, rather he earned direct entry into the ATP 250 event in Montpellier.

We caught a break with the men's scheduling as Jannik vs. Novak is set for 8:30 MST tonight (Meddy vs. Zverev is the overnight match).

We made it home. Had to stay two extra days in Sydney because of a bird strike to our plane. Australia was wonderful and the people are very friendly. Though I'm now officially broke because of this trip.  . I highly recommend going to a Melbourne slam. The facility was amazing! We now have two slams off the books, Australian open, and the US open. Maybe if I save up enough money in the next five years we can get to Wimbledon or the French.
