I think it looks fantastic. Some people didnt like GOTG, calling it simple or whatever, but it was a good film and this looks like its capturing the same vibe.

What? who are these savages that cannot recognize brilliant cinema when we finally get it?
Lol after watching the Transformers trailer I wanted to remember Transformers: Age of Extinction, so I went to look at the Wikipedia entry for the plot. I was reading it and was thinking "this sounds kind of cool actually, like a real Transformers comic book plot". Then I realized I had watched the actual movie, and the movie was so bad in communicating the plot I couldn't even remember it. Fighting robots is still pretty cool though.

But certainty is an absurd one.
I stopped watching at the part where there was an old robot with a crutch, how far back am I?
A few movies, that one I do believe had Shia Labeouf.
As for the plot, most are pretty good but Michael Bay does a terrible job of telling the story. Age of Extinction was amazing solely for the fact you get the Dinobots and get to see a bad ass Optimus Prime ride Grimlock.
I looked it up because I was curious. Not only have the 4 movies made $3 Billion dollars (profit), but in nearly every instance each movie makes more than the previous. The latest one did buck that trend, but barely.
Seems like more Transformers talk here so i'll pose this question here.
I haven't seen a Transformers since the 2nd one. Do they form any sort of almost cohesive storyline?
I mean, Michael seems to have basically unlimited cash to make these things. I don't even want to think about how much they're paying actors who can do pretty much whatever they want to be in these (Anthony Hopkins?!). You'd think they could plot out like 7-8 movies that at least relate to each other.
