There's no doubt he's injured. He looks like McEnroe moving out there (like McEnroe right now at 60). He keeps hoping a weak field and gutting it out can work. But really he should withdraw

Cause it's not really 4 channels. 1,3,4 and 5 are 4 regional channels.

Now this should tell you that Federer is indeed hurt. In the two matches he's played he's had a total of 9 backhand winners...and 47 backhand errors. Now the backhand has been sensational all year, but even when it was "the weakness", it was relative. It was more you don't play to the forehand where you're all but guaranteed to lose, it was play to the backhand that is less reliable, albeit still a good shot. But those numbers are shockingly bad, where the only explanation can be he's hurt. So he probably will keep going, but I cannot imagine him winning the tournament, at best maybe he can will his way to the QFs because the draw is weak, but if runs into Thiem or Del Potro he'll get blasted off the court.
