It was such a great night of celebration. Huge props to the Flames and all the guests. Kipper was amazing, as usual. Noodles, what can you say? The best of memories. Loved all of it. Every minute.
Fantastic night. Those games must be tough on the players as the Flames started so flat, it great response in the third.

From HFBoard oiler fan, in analyzing MacT's management:
O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
I had teary eyes throughout the ceremony. It was amazing experience for me, especially considering that Kipepr is my favouirte Flame of all times. And to re-live the 2004 Cup run at the Dome was unreal. I loved that Darryl was there. Two things that did seem a bit awkward to me during the ceremony: that he thanked everyone on the players' bench except for Phaneuf and that Kipper's wife didn't attend.
The two d-men he thanked were there for the Cup run was how I interpreted it. But as another posted mentioned he didn't think Glencross, Stajan, or Gelinas either. For all we know Phaneuf's name was there and he got so nervous he skipped over it.
That was a great night - bit of a bonus for me because we don’t get studio segments, bu the first intermission was the After Hours show - jus loved all of it.

In honour of Kipper last night, Hockey God also answered the fans’ prayers .. what an amazing coincidence with Sharky scored twice (17 x 2) and the final score being 3 (Pittsburgh) - 4 (Calgary) … 34 !! What’s the chance?

He got off to a slow start, looking a lot like the last 20 or 30 games last year, but since then, he's been REALLY good - a bargain at $7M
First 8..: 0-1-1, -10
Last 52: 22-29-51, +14
the kids deserve credit for moving his needle, but he deserves as much or more for carrying (strong term, mentoring) 2 rookies through a long season. and the coach- who either wisely or luckily put this trio together
Just wanted to reiterate what a fantastic evening of hockey that was. Great to see Kipper’s number raised to the rafters and was cool to see the ‘04 crew there as well! Video montage with Peter Mayer narrating was something else.

The kids deserve some credit for jumpstarting him and the team, for sure.
But he - along with Coleman - has been the best forward on the team for the last 50 games.
