I would just caution players don't always get better every single season
myself and many other flames fans/hockey fans thought Dion was going to absolutely dominate this league for years after his rookie season

The great thing about those Dougie photo bombs is he is displaying a new version each time. Who knew he had so much talent and character.

I would argue that while people loved his big hits and his shots there were a lot of complaints about his hockey sense and his positioning and his hitting leaving his partner out to dry. Dion was always a player that left me wanting more.
The sad thing is when he started having hip problems and couldn't get back into position, it was pretty clear that he was never going to reach his potential.
