Well duh. Half the team doesn't even play.

So how long will it take for the NHL to gift Valeri Nicushkin to the Oilers on a bargain bin deal?

So their balls are getting removed and pasted to the crests of their jerseys?
Bold move. Let's see how it pans out for em.

How is it that the cup favorites have reached the point of hanging their run hopes on a goalie with no playoff experience?
Unfathomable.

And not because of injury. No no, but by choice.

I thought I read that last game that the high danger chances was only 7-6 Coilers, so shooting from everywhere doesn't seem to matter.

Yeah, just be patient and the Oilers will give you those high danger chances.

On Pickard who has 10 minutes of game time in this series? Go after him. Up that volume. Don't let him get settled.

Pickard was better than Skinner this year so it should take 18 shots instead of 15 to score four tonight.

This really reeks of desperation and seems at least a game early to be at that point.
Shows a lack of confidence in their starter from within the team, and that admission makes them come across vulnerable.
VAN could have swapped out Silovs after things got rocky in game 2 and media questioned continuing with him but stuck with their guy and that vote of confidence paid off.
Now if Pickard doesn't work out you have to back to your start who's been picked apart by the media and doesn't have the confidence of his team either. Great situation to be in.
